Global Delivery / Engagement Models & Pricing
Fee disputes almost always trace back to a scope that was never written down. We write it down.
Global Delivery engagements are priced per unit — per return, per file, or per FTE month — rather than a blanket retainer, because the work itself varies that way. The right model depends on volume, predictability and how the engagement is shaped.
We have a predictable volume of returns each month and want pricing that reflects that.
Per-return pricing, so cost scales directly with volume.
We need dedicated capacity, not a per-task arrangement.
Per-FTE-month pricing for a dedicated resource working your files.
We only need help with a handful of files this quarter.
Per-file pricing for scoped, one-off work.
We want to know the cost before committing, not after.
The fee is agreed and written down before work starts, every time.
We're worried scope will creep and the bill will grow without warning.
We tell you before we exceed the agreed fee if scope changes, never after.
We want to test the arrangement before committing to an ongoing one.
A no-cost pilot — one file or ten hours of work.
Which one applies depends on the shape of the work, not a fixed rule.
| Model | Used for | How it works |
|---|---|---|
| Per return | Individual tax returns, VAT/GST returns, single recurring filings | A fixed fee per return prepared, agreed before the batch starts. |
| Per file | One-off engagements — a clean-up, a single client file, a scoped project | A fixed fee for the defined file or project, agreed upfront. |
| Per FTE month | Ongoing dedicated capacity — a resource working your files full-time | A monthly fee for an agreed dedicated resource, reviewed periodically. |
Global Delivery's per-unit pricing is one of four fee models used across MAC — see the How We Work page for how fixed-fee, retainer and time-based pricing apply to other engagements.
And one thing we will not.
What we will not do: quote a fee we know is unrealistic to win the work, then rebuild it through variations. An underpriced engagement gets under-resourced, and that's a quality problem before it's a commercial one.
A no-cost pilot — one month of books or ten hours of work — so you can assess the output before committing to anything. Talk to a partner to arrange one, or reach the Global Delivery team directly at global@mac.org.pk.
It follows the shape of the work — high-volume recurring filings suit per-return pricing, a scoped one-off suits per-file, and ongoing dedicated capacity suits per-FTE-month. We recommend one once we understand what you need.
Only if the scope changes, and only after we've told you first. We bill against the engagement letter, so every invoice traces to something you agreed.
Terms are discussed per engagement once volume and duration are known — there's no generic published discount schedule.
